Personally, I used to live on Luna and Cliff Bars until I realized the damage they were doing to my body. Cliff Bars were made for people hiking 14,000 foot mountains! Cashew Cookie Dough Balls (with Protein!)

I decided to create this recipe using dates and cashews. These can be made with no added sugars, other than natural sources (This recipe is made with chocolate chips, but you can easily substitute out the chocolate chips for raw cacao nibs). They are great snacks before or after a work-out, or halfway through a long endurance run or bike ride. I would even have them if you are in need of a sweeter treat after dinner to satisfy your sweet tooth.
